Hiking

We do a group PT session weekly.  The Lt and MSgt that lead it try to mix it up.  This week was a hike up to Waterfall Canyon.  Not an easy hike...the water was blowing off the top and evaporated prior to falling the ground.

Not quite great-grandma I's recipe, as I added kale and didn't parboil the noodles (they were regular lasagna noodles), but the sauce is homemade....it was delicious though...

So, my photog group has a forum called 'Collective Shoot'.  Someone chooses a theme and everyone takes and posts photos that fit the theme (or their interpretation) for the one week.  This week is 'Almost There', so after leaving too many putts short today, I came up with this idea.

Vegas, Baby!

I went to get Mark's watch battery replaced...too bad it was in Vegas, but it was 105 deg (so I wanted to experience the temps Mark is getting in Baghdad).  So here's some night shots from the Strip...

I didn't know there was a Margaritaville in Vega, but there is..

These photos are from Sat's air show, but I put together a collage as a going away gift for my deputy.  Wx wasn't the best, but it left fresh snow on the mtns...it would have been neater to have blue sky with the fresh snow, but guess you can't have everything ;-)
