This year I'm doing a 52 week. I'll most likely post more often here to the blog, only because I've enjoyed having the camera over the last year with me at all times.

Fall is here!
From yesterday's Church Hike...
I took some wonderful shots of our pastor and her sons/husband, but don't feel comfortable posting them here without her permission. I actually took shots of people that I'm proud of!

Airshow
Flew to Wendover, UT (on western border w/ Nevada) for an airshow...
The lighting wasn't the best, but these aren't too bad...
P-40 and P-51
It was fun flying over the Bonneville Salt Flats. Afterwards walked up to the casinos on the NV side of the town. There is a line across the road designating which state you are in!

Yellowstone
It's pretty smoky up there due to the fires...this is taken looking east at the Tetons. I'm at 12.5k and still in the smoke:
Hiked up to top of Mt Washburn in Yellowstone (10,232 ft). This is looking SE, towards Yellowstone Lake. My car is parked on the other side of the second hill.
It was cold at night...
I stayed in one of the tipis (no fire)
Bison and thermals

26 Aug: T his week I hosted Nikon Cafe's Collective Shoot...no prizes, just a theme to allow us to get our ideas flowing. My theme was "what's in your glass"
1 Sep: I heard this guy pounding away at one of my trees. Should be a Hairy Woodpecker.
We had some spectacular storms come through today. This was one of them...
